Films chosen for the festival have the chance to be featured on Troma’s Best of Tromadance 2007-2008 DVD. This is a chance to preserve your movie forever in the history of Troma, and have your film sold at major retailers across the country.

The Selection Process
Selections for the TromaDance Film Festival are judged by an official selection committee brought together specifically for this purpose. Films are judged based on artistic merit and originality. Your film need not include sex and violence!
TromaDance receives hundreds of entries every year, and the selection committee views each and every one of them. (Note: Lloyd Kaufman has no involvement in the selection process.) Various levels of selection are used to determine the final films to be screened. Unfortunately, due to the number of entries received, we cannot communicate with filmmakers as to the status of their film. If your film is selected for TromaDance, we will contact you using the information provided on the official entry form.
Official Rules
1. Deadline - All submissions must be received no later than Midnight, December 30, 2007. There is no cost for entry.
2. Format - Although the film may be shot in any manner you feel necessary, the submission must be on PAL VHS, PAL DVD, Region 1 DVD, All Region DVD, or NTSC VHS. You may submit more than one film. Please use separate tapes or DVDs and entry forms for each title.
3. Film Information - Please feel free to include any kind of publicity material or information regarding the film along with your submission.
4. Judging - All entries will judged by the TromaDance Selection Committee.
5. Notification - If you are selected, you will be contacted, either by phone, mail or e-mail.

All entries and material sent will not be returned. The entry form also doubles as a release form, giving TromaDance the right to use your film in anyway necessary in conjunction with TromaDance. Submission by you of a film constitutes your understanding and agreement to these official rules.
